Every link in mold manufacturing is inseparable from the support of hardware. Although the mold hardware accessories such as guide pins and guide sleeves, positioning rings, springs, limit pins, and ejectors are not large in size, their performance and precision directly affect the life of the entire mold, the precision of the finished product, and the subsequent production efficiency.
Among the customers we have served, many chose hardware of poor quality in the early stage, which led to problems such as misalignment, poor sliding, and early wear of parts in the mold, and even affected the yield rate of the final molded product. Experience tells us that the quality of mold hardware will eventually “sediment” in every product of the customer.
In the selection of mold hardware, we insist on using high-performance materials such as SKD11, S136, NAK80, H13, etc., and match them with advanced equipment such as CNC machining centers, mirror EDM, CNC turning and milling to ensure that each product meets the high precision standard of ±0.01mm. More importantly, we have passed multiple quality inspection processes (size inspection, hardness inspection, surface treatment inspection) to ensure that every product received by customers is stable and reliable and can withstand the test of high-frequency production.
A set of molds is worth tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or even higher, and the quality of mold hardware often accounts for only a small part of the cost, but can affect the working performance and life of the entire set of molds. Choosing high-precision and high-quality mold hardware is a key step to improve product quality and extend mold life.
